You can now choose to show or hide the order number on the order confirmation screen of the Toast kiosk. By default, showing the order number is enabled.

You can configure this option with the Show order number on order confirmation screen setting found in the Design your kiosk section of the Kiosk setup menu in Toast Web.

The menu item image has been updated from an elongated u-shape crop, to a traditional square crop on Toast kiosk devices.

You can now upsell items that are configured with required modifiers on Toast kiosk devices. Previously menu items with required modifiers were not supported for upsell.

Previously, redeemable rewards were not shown to guests of some third-party loyalty providers. Now, redeemable rewards appear as expected for third party loyalty programs.

Tip adjustments now require additional permissions. When a restaurant employee closes out a check, they can adjust the check total to include a tip without additional permissions. Once a tip has been added, either of the 3.8 Void / Refund Payments or 3.18 Cash Drawers (Full) permissions are needed to make additional tip adjustments.

You can now filter and search checks on the Payment Terminal by server name and by role.

Kitchen display systems (KDS) now support English, Spanish, and Chinese languages. You can switch the KDS language by selecting the language toggle on the KDS screen.
